A Promise to Education
The Board of the Friends of Dunbar Cave provides 50% of the funding for two seasonal AmeriCorp employees. These employees are dedicated to providing cave tours. Because of the Board investment, the cave tour season was expanded from May to October, 7 days a week. This investment allows hundreds of students to tour the cave as field trips.

A Promise to Sustainability
The Thomas Dunbar Society (TDS) membership is designed to create a revenue stream dedicated to making this investment sustainable. 75% of the of TDS individual/family dues and 100% of the corporate TDS dues are dedicated to this investment.
